About Jobilyst

Why Jobilyst?

Jobilyst is a free job board covering 18 categories — from IT and engineering to healthcare, law, and virtual assistant work — built around one idea: you should always know exactly where a job listing came from and whether it's actually still open. Right now the board carries 16,441 open roles across 114 companies.

Every listing tells you where it came from

Not every job on Jobilyst was posted directly by the employer. Some are sourced from companies' own public career pages via their applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, and similar platforms). Every single listing, direct or sourced, links back to the original application page, so you're never applying blind. This is disclosed on every job page, not buried in fine print.

Self-posted jobs are reviewed before they go live

When an employer posts a job directly on Jobilyst, it doesn't publish instantly. It's held for moderator review first, and only goes live once approved. This is a deliberate trade-off: slightly slower than an instant-publish job board, in exchange for fewer spam listings and fake postings cluttering the results.

Free for job seekers and employers

Searching and applying to jobs costs nothing. Posting a job as an employer costs nothing. There's no premium tier that gatekeeps basic functionality on either side of the marketplace.

One candidate profile, apply everywhere on the site

Build a candidate profile once — work experience, education, certifications, and skills — and reuse it for every job you apply to directly on Jobilyst, instead of retyping the same information for every application. Your submitted applications are tracked in one place from your dashboard.

Every category, in one place

Rather than specializing in one industry, Jobilyst deliberately covers 18 categories under one roof, so a career change across fields doesn't mean learning a new job board:

Employers can claim their scraped listings

If your company's jobs already appear on Jobilyst from a public source, you can claim your company profile to manage it directly and post future roles yourself, rather than waiting for the next sync.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how Jobilyst actually works

Yes. Searching and applying to jobs is free for candidates, and posting a job is free for employers. There is no paywall or premium tier gatekeeping basic use of the site.
Jobilyst is deliberately narrower and more transparent: every listing tells you whether it was posted directly by the employer or sourced from a public career page, and every self-posted job is reviewed by a moderator before it goes live, rather than publishing instantly with no review.
Two places: employers who post directly on Jobilyst, and public job board APIs from companies' own applicant tracking systems (like Greenhouse and Lever). Every listing links back to the original source or application page, so you always know where you're applying.
Sourced listings are re-synced on a regular automated schedule, so job details and availability reflect what's actually live at the source rather than a one-time snapshot that goes stale.
Self-posted jobs go through moderator review before publishing, and sourced listings are tied to a live, currently-open posting at the source company. Jobilyst does not fabricate listings, deadlines, or company details.
No account is needed to browse jobs or to apply to listings that link out to a company's own site. For jobs you apply to directly on Jobilyst, you can apply as a guest or create a free candidate profile to apply faster next time.
